Julie Johndreau earned her M.S. in Natural Resources Interpretation from Stephen F. Austin University and her B.A. in Biology from Boston University. For over fifteen years, she served as a park ranger and education specialist for the National Park Service.
Julie developed and presented a wide range of junior ranger and K-12 education programs for classroom, field trips, and online. She led an acclaimed education outreach program that included videoconferencing, teacher partnerships, and student projects.
Currently, she works for the U.S. Forest Service and also oversees her oldest daughter’s blended home/public/online education. She is passionate about helping all kids find connection and meaning in their lives and gets most excited when this involves nature hikes and junior ranger badges!
