Louise Reid is an AMI Montessori trained directress with 20 years of classroom experience. She has dedicated the last four years to working with Title I, migrant children in a bilingual school in southwest Florida, in a non- Montessori environment. Louise has taught in Montessori schools around the world; Dutch West Indies, Australia, Thailand, Switzerland, Mexico, Czech Republic, US Virgin Islands and on both the east and west coast of the USA. Louise attended the University of Central Florida where she received two bachelors, one in Psychology and the other in Spanish, which she is fluent in, and is her native language.
Louise earned her Master’s Degree in Education at Loyola University of Maryland and it currently a Doctoral candidate at the University of Denver (DU), where she is studying Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Giftedness. Louise has been working with gifted students for 25 years and specialized in 2017, after receiving her Gifted Endorsement from Collier County, Florida.
Louise is also a K-6 Florida Certified Educator and a certified Literacy Coach. Louise currently lives in Collier County with her husband and daughter where she runs a tutoring program.
