Automata & Information Theory Seminars for a Cause!
with Jamie Schmidt
In these math-centered Seminars for a Cause, Athena’s instructor, “Prof.” Jamie Schmidt, will share fascinating insights into automata & information theory!
Everyone is welcome, regardless of enrollment at Athena’s! Recordings will be available for those who are not able to attend live.
Automata theory is the study of the most fundamental aspects of computation. In this 50-minute seminar, we’ll introduce a series of ever-more-powerful automata, concluding with the most powerful of all, the Turing Machine.
