I took Professor Valerie’s “Write & Publish a Book” class this spring, and have just published my book on Amazon!

It’s available in paperback or Kindle (ISBN 979-8336562965).

It’s a fun, exciting fantasy adventure, and I wanted to share it with people here who might be interested.

Here’s the description from the back of the book:

“When fourteen-year-old Megan starts writing a fantasy story with her best friend, Kara, she never expects it to be anything more than a fun summer project. But after she finds a mysterious medallion hidden away in her attic, strange things start happening.

Before the girls know it, characters from their story have infiltrated their peaceful seaside town, including the definitely creepy and definitely evil Shadow Elf queen, Zaraya. When Zaraya gets hold of the medallion and Megan and Kara are teleported to their own not-so-fictional world of Avaloria, they find themselves caught up in an adventure straight out of a storybook. Literally.

While they’re trapped in Avaloria, trying desperately to find a way home, Zaraya is busy rampaging through their neighborhood and destroying everything in sight.
