This course offers writers a week of inspiration and collaboration to explore fiction, poetry, comics, or whatever genre they enjoy! Students will write each day and share work with classmates to fuel ongoing creativity.

Daily webinars will include interactive writing activities, focused writing time, and discussion of new work. Sessions will feature a variety of creative prompts and themes for students to take in their own original directions! We’ll approach the process of generating ideas and developing stories from multiple angles so that each writer can find methods that work best for their projects. This class is ideal for avid writers of any level of experience, or for students who haven’t written much but would like to experiment and stretch their imaginations!

Sharing ideas in a creative community helps give students momentum to continue individual writing outside of class. After our course ends, students may access the online classroom for the remainder of the month to continue to share their work and feedback and find resources and activities for further inspiration.

    Let’s get writing!
