Are you curious about things like how we regulate our body temperature, how the brain controls the entire body, and how the human body fights disease?
Human Anatomy & Physiology is a fascinating course that will enable you to better understand the structure and function of the human body. In this course, emphasis is placed on human anatomy and physiological principles at the cellular and systemic levels. It is an in-depth presentation of the function of the major organs and organ systems and expands on physiological concepts. Students will play the role of medical professionals and solve medical mysteries using real patient case studies.
Human Anatomy & Physiology is a complex subject with many interrelated ideas centered around Chemistry. While Biology and Chemistry are not required prerequisites, a background in both courses is a definite plus for this class.
If you completed the Human Body Systems course this course builds on that class and will take your knowledge to the next level. Human Body Systems is not a prerequisite for this course.
