How many times does the human heart beat in a day? How does the brain control every function of the body? How does oxygen travel to trillions of cells in the body?
In the Human Body Systems course, students will examine the interactions of body systems as they explore the overarching themes of communication, power, movement, protection, and homeostasis. Students will investigate the structures and functions of the human body.
Students will work through interesting patient cases and play the role of medical professionals to solve medical mysteries.
This course is a great foundation for the high school level Human Anatomy & Physiology course!
