Brains are squishy biological stuff. How can a brain think? In this course we’ll explore the architecture of the mind, to try to understand how minds can think, know, feel, and experience the world around them.
Cognitive Science is based in psychology, but includes insights from neuroscience, linguistics, anthropology, and philosophy of mind. If a student has taken a psychology class already, that’s a terrific introduction, but is not necessary for this course.
