Are you ready to investigate the natural world? Let’s do it, literally!
This independent study course allows you, with Prof. Emma, to build your own lab assignments to investigate biological and ecological phenomena! We’ll work together to determine ideas that you’re excited about and that are possible with the resources available to you.
Next, you’ll get out there and do some labs! Your lab reports will build up to the level you’d like to reach–whether that’s a full lab report or answering a few questions about your work.
Prof. Emma can provide guidance for labs focused on…
- Ecology – population ecology, community ecology, habitat surveys, species interactions…
- General biology concepts – photosynthesis, cellular respiration, microscope skills, Mendelian genetics…
What will you discover?
