What’s the difference between population and community ecology? How can we define different types of interactions? And what does all of this have to do with the ocean? Our course will dive into ecological principles through the lens of marine ecosystems. It’s critical for budding life scientists to learn these concepts, especially if they wish to pursue a career in the marine sciences.
The course will also lead students through creating a research proposal and begin to familiarize them with reading scientific literature. These skills cannot be underestimated and are vital in higher education and life science careers.
