(1850 to 1994)
The history of our world is a rich tapestry woven by unbelievable human endeavors, cultures that rise to power then fade away, humankind’s hunger for exploration and discovery, and natural disasters that have influenced and shaped our destiny.
There is a lot of ground to cover!
This is the fourth in our series of history courses. We use the Story of the World books, by the award winning author Susan Wise Bauer, to ignite a passion for exploring the centuries of human existence and finding out how this influenced the world we live in today.
In our live webinars we dig deeply into the historical events of the period and discuss the artifacts, people, customs and cultures that were “of that time.” Using primary sources, critical thinking, and interactive web tools, students will travel back in time and later apply what they have learned to their future.
Note to Parents:
- The Story of the World cycle begins again with The Story of the World – Volume 1: Ancient Times in this time slot in the fall.
