“Like math, physics is often taught linearly . But, everyone learns at a very different pace! Even though physics can be very fun to learn, some students are left behind or become bored. In one-on-one tutoring, your student gets to learn at their own pace!” ~ Prof. Patrick

Are you ready to explore the intricacies of physics?

Physics tends to be more math-intensive than other scientific subjects. When Patrick was taking his first physics course, he had to choose a more simplistic course because he didn’t know calculus yet! However, most interesting topics in physics can be discussed without high-level math. Patrick is eager to help students learn physics and connect it to math in their own way.

Physics is a very broad topic, but the wide variety of material can make it hard to fully understand. Advanced physics courses also require strong math and problem solving skills. This can make physics an unusually challenging subject, and it can be overwhelming to practice and develop physics skills. Patrick has experience with a full sequence of college physics courses and understands how to overcome frustration related to complex learning and problem solving.

For some students, physics education can be unsatisfying and too basic. In particular, if a student is not already at a very high level of math, they usually won’t be introduced to more interesting concepts! Patrick is eager to share fascinating physics details that students are ready to learn in science courses. He will also share more information about general physics topics that are normally glossed over.
