I’m a university professor who took early retirement to homeschool my daughter. I love encouraging students to wrestle with difficult issues, and I owe this style to my own college experience, where discussion was valued more than memorizing facts. My field is cognitive psychology, but I’m interested in everything from evolution to sign language. I’m currently writing a book about children’s novels of the 20th century.
