Parental participation is highly encouraged for AP courses to ensure your child gets the most out of each class. Students should be able to complete the coursework without parental assistance, but parents should be available to see that students are keeping up with the assignments.
If the student wants to take the AP test, parents should make the necessary arrangements. Homeschooled students will need to make arrangements to take the test through a local school or organization that administers AP tests.
Many assignments require Internet access, and we believe that this is best done under parental supervision. Athena’s Advanced Academy is not responsible for inappropriate content that your child may access on the Internet.
